Granny's Cake

This recipe is from a friend and neighbour of mine, Jessica Henderson. Although these are actually squares, she said they always called them “Grannie’s Cake” so we stuck with that :)

INGREDIENTS:

1 CUP WHITE SUGAR
1 CUP CORN SYRUP
1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
1 TSP VANILLA
1/4 TSP SALT

DIRECTIONS:

MIX ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.
MICROWAVE FOR 3 MINUTES, STIRRING UNTIL MIXTURE IS SMOOTH AND HOT - DO NOT BOIL.
ADD 2 CUPS SPECIAL K OR CORNFLAKES.
ADD 2 CUPS RICE KRISPIES
