Rudie's Homemade Buns

There is something so satisfying about having homemade buns- especially around the holidays! And the best part, is you can make them ahead of time!

 

Rudie's Homemade Buns

Ingredients:

1 1/2 CUPS WARM WATER

1 TBSP ACTIVE DRY YEAST

2TBSP SUGAR

DISSOLVE & LET STAND 5 MINUTES 

 

ADD:

2 TBSP SOFT BUTTER

1 TSP SALT

3 CUPS FLOUR

 

ADD ADDITIONAL FLOUR 1/4 CUP AT A TIME UNTIL DOUGH PULLS AWAY FROM SIDES OF BOWL. KNEAD/MIX 3-5 MINUTES.

COVER & LET RISE 20 MINUTES.

LINE WITH PARCHMENT PAPER OR GREASE A 9"X13" PAN.

GENTLY DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 20 PIECES. ROLL INTO BALLS AND PLACE EVENLY IN PAN. PREHEAT OVER TO 400 DEGREES.

BRUSH DOUGH BALLS WITH MELTED BUTTER, LET RISE 15-20 MINUTES.

BAKE FOR 13-15 MINUTES. REMOVE & BRUSH WITH BUTTER.
